Salmonella? In my sandwich?

an illustration of a chicken midstep looking mildly concerned. about what? who knows? only the chicken knows.

Bock!
Unfortunately, we have discontinued our chicken products.

As you may have heard, the previous rules that protected us from contaminated meat can be ignored. Of course, the factory farmers are happy about this. First, they raise egg prices on a whim, now they’re going to let some salmonella make it to market?

Sure, we can all run the risk of getting the squirts and a fever for a week, but that doesn't sound fun.

Sure, we can cook our meat to a gristly perfection, but does that sound enjoyable? Imagine that gristle getting stuck between your teeth like pesky popcorn kernels. No thank you!

In a perfect world, most of us wouldn't have to think about it, but here we are.

This leads to us at Hmmburger deciding to discontinue all of our chicken products. No more nuggets and chicken sandwiches, and unfortunately this also includes our famous turkey meatballs. However, we will continue to offer our breakfast egg products, as we raise our own egg-laying chickens.

Please return at a later time when we maybe have a better understanding of the effects of consuming fowl meat.

A clean kitchen is a clean meal.
