Death of a King
December 23, 2007
There are many musicians that exist because the gods decided that it was about the time to let mankind be blessed. Well, I am gonna talk about a gift from the gods that no longer is a gift, this gift is at the state of re-gifting or return so I can buy a new CD. The gift is none other than Andrew WK.
Andrew WK is pretty much known as the king of the party. With awesome hits like "Ready to Die", "She is Beautiful", "I love NYC", and various awesome songs that make you want to smash skulls in and punch yourself in the nose with a doorknob. It just is something that came with his first CD "I Get Wet."
Let us take an adventure through the history of a king worthy of all the virgin blood in the world.

I Get Wet (2001)
This is a beautiful album, it makes you just want to drive your car at 100MPH running old woman off the road while punching the person in the seat next to you while drinking a couple of 40s. The music is beautiful, the way it was meant to be played...fun, loud, and simple. Only an asshole would expect drum fills and lead guitar parts while The King would sing...melodies only!!!
The album art is amazing and probably reflects how I look after every time I listen to the album. To top it off he did busted his nose just for tat wonderful CD cover and in honor everyone should do the same when they listen to the album.
Well, I leave you with this...HEY YOU! LETS PARTY!
The Wolf (2004)
Actually an impressive CD seeing as how he is an awesome person and deserves a medal for continuing the legacy of making epic music to bash your skull in with a lead pipe.
The album starts with a song that prepares you for the 100% pure rockage. Plus, the songs maintain the simplicity and rawness as the previous songs. No solos or drum fills here!
As for the album art, just look at that amazing man.

Close Calls With Brick Walls (2006)
OOOOOOH SHIT! WTF?!?!?!? THIS IS ANDREW WK?!?!!?! NO WAY!!! YOU'RE LYING!!!! THIS IS A JOKE RIGHT?!?!?
Maybe something good will be coming out in the future that will pull him out the crap that he recently pulled off. Oh well, Andrew, there will always be a place for you in my heart. THINK OF THE PARTY!!!
Don't die on us now Andrew!
